Summary

Since its establishment by the 1995 Uganda Constitution, the Education Service Commission has faced numerous challenges in its recruitment drives that cost the commission lots in terms of time and workload. This, ultimately, has had a negative impact on the efficiency of the commission.

This study however argues a case for digital relevance in staff recruitment as a solution to the problem the commission finds itself engulfed in. Digitalization, according to the study, will benefit more than just the commission.
