2011 Annual Reports.

The 2010 Annual Report highlights UNCDF’s recent growth, its investment in external programme evaluation, and its stepped up activities around knowledge sharing and advocacy. It also highlights several innovative new programmes, including in the areas of branchless banking and savings-led microfinance.

In 2009, UNCDF operated in 40 LDCs. Local development programmes accounted for 61% of programme delivery; microfinance for 39%. Over 50% of the clients of UNCDF-supported microfinance institutions were women, and UNCDF launched the Gender Equitable Local Development programme (GELD) designed to ensure that capital spending by local government helps to empower women.

The 2008 Annual Report highlights UNCDF’s activities across 38 least developed countries, including new kinds of support being developed to help partner governments become more resilient in the face of growing global challenges.

The 2007 Results-Oriented Annual Report highlights UNCDF's support across 31 Least Developed Countries in the final year of its Business Plan 2005-2007.

The 2006 Results-Oriented Annual Report provides a detailed overview of UNCDF performance in terms of programme, management and financial results. The results are consistent with the managing-for-results strategy set forth in the UNCDF Business Plan 2005-2007.

The 2004 Results-Oriented Annual Report details the work of UNCDF in the Least Developed Countries, assessing the results in its two practice areas – Inclusive Finance and the Local Governance, ‘rebranded’ as “Local Development” to emphasize its focus on piloting activities with local governments.

The 2002 Results-Oriented Annual Report captures the results achieved in 2002 within the UNCDF Strategic Results Framework (SRF) for 2000-2003. The report assesses the performance of the organization in terms of the achievement of annual targets under each sub-goal of the SRF. In addition, the 2002 ROAR is formulated in a more management-oriented manner, covering the key results produced by the organization, the main challenges and the way forward.
