NIDO and the ILO ITC are offering a Joint programme entitiled, "SME Cluster Development: Principles and Practice, Helping SME Clusters in Developing Countries Meet their Potential in the Globalized Economy" 19 Apr 2004 - 30 Apr 2004 at the International Training Centre of the ILO in Turin, Italy. UNCDF and CGAP are pleased to announce the upcoming 5-day donor training course "Building Financial Systems for the Poor: How Donors Can Make a Difference" in Italy 26-30 April 2004 with a focus on rural microfinance. The course is designed for CGAP member donors, UN agency staff, other donors, socially responsible investors and policy makers who are not specialists in microfinance, yet spend some portion of their time on projects that include financial services. The next course will be held in Spanish from 31 May to 4 June, in Antigua/Guatemala.

7th Annual Conference of Microfinance Institutions in Central and Eastern Europe and the Newly Independent States organized by the MFC for C and the NIS will take place from 27-29 May in Warsaw, Poland. More information on logistics and agenda will follow by the end of this year.
