2001 UNCDF Results-oriented Annual Report

New features of the 2001 Results-Oriented Annual Report (ROAR) include a refined strategic results framework and an initial performance-based budgeting framework. Overall, the analyses of performance show that 2001 was a year of consolidation and deepening of previous gains, resulting not necessarily in significant increases in output attainments but in improved quality of both project management and output. The 2011 ROAR also notes the formalization of partnership arrangements with UNDP in Microfinance, and the excellent reviews on UNCDF work from external evaluations.

2000 UNCDF Results-oriented Annual Report

The 2000 Results-Oriented Annual Report presents an analysis of UNCDF performance against its strategic results framework for the period 2000 to 2003.

1999 Report of the Administrator on UNCDF

1999 was a momentous year for UNCDF. The 1999 Results-Oriented Annual Report is presented in combination with an independent evaluation of the previous three years. The evaluation concluded "UNCDF has enhanced its distinctive identity by developing competence in the fields of decentralization and local governance, together with microfinance. The capacity of the institution has been improved and the preliminary judgment is that the new approaches have had a positive effect on field operations."

1997 Report of the Administrator on UNCDF

The 1997 Results-Oriented Annual Report assesses the performance of the organization in terms of the achievement of annual targets in its areas of intervention: Local Development Funds, Eco-development and Microfinance. The report also describes UNCDF projects, and how these are largely directed by its focus on reducing poverty through approaches that promote good local governance, a dynamic private sector and the participation of civil society in development initiatives.

1995 Report of the Administrator on UNCDF

The 1995 Results-Oriented Annual Report details the work of UNCDF in the Least Developed Countries, assessing its results in the areas of Local Development, Eco-development and Microfinance.
