The 2026 ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development Follow-Up (FfD Forum) builds on the momentum of the Sevilla outcome, advancing the shift from commitments to capital. In this context, the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), together with partners, organises a series of high-level discussions on how catalytic concessional finance and risk-sharing instruments can be deployed to derisk investment, strengthen local financial systems, and unlock capital flows in fragile and underserved markets.
