Achieving the ambitious targets of the 2030 Agenda requires a revitalized and enhanced global partnership.

Focusing on the role of governments, civil society and the private sector is key to advance the implementation of the SDGs, prevent crises and sustain peace. Whether creating jobs, investing in education, skills, and training, or tackling underlying causes of displacement like conflict, disaster or climate change, only by working together we can have a huge impact in preventing instability and helping peaceful societies flourish. This is why the United Nations stand will focus on advancing sustainable development to positively contribute to a more secure, just, equitable and sustainable future for this and future generations.

The SDG Action Hub will provide a space for decision-makers and experts to experience first-hand innovative approaches to SDG communication and advocacy such as the MY World survey which provides citizen generated data on SDG implementation and monitoring. Visitors can also learn about the human stories behind development challenges with United Nations Virtual Reality (UNVR) on SDG issues.

Additionally, the UN SDG Hub will feature a SDG Stage which will serve as a unique platform to generate inter-generational dialogues between youth activists and representatives from the United Nations, the European Commission and a wide range of other institutions present at the EDDs.

The United Nations will be strongly represented at the European Development Days by:
