The UN Capital Development Fund together with the International Chamber of Commerce, Global Alliance pour les Petites et Moyennes Enterprises (GAPME), Columbia University-Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences Program (QMSS), Concordia, and Business Africa launched the SME COVID-19 survey, specifically to determine the socio-economic impact of the pandemic on SMEs in the world's least developed countries (LDCs).

With the survey in the field, UNCDF has been fortunate enough to receive the support of newspapers, magazines, digital publications and business associations in LDCs, which are sharing their platforms to promote the survey. Not only does such support play a role in delivering the survey to SMEs in last mile markets, but it also sends a clear signal regarding the importance of SMEs towards ensuring the resilience of LDC economies during the COVID-19 crisis.

Every outlet and organization promoting the survey will be listed underneath. Readers can click on the links to read the media posts. We look forward to building on this list and we appreciate the media outlets that have committed to supporting the cause of sustaining SMEs in this critical time.

On top of this, every outlet and organization promoting the survey will also have the opportunity to host an event that will showcase SME survey data specific to their country, while providing a platform for local SME business leaders to discuss their challenges and share their innovations.
