The Global Findex database provides a multi-dimensional picture of formal account ownership and how adults save, borrow, and make payments. It also has data on the use of financial technology. The United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) Shaping Inclusive Finance Transformations (SHIFT) programme, supported by the Australian Government (DFAT), created a dashboard that allows users to segment Findex data by:

• Gender
• Income Quintile
• Employment Status (2017 only)
• Education Level
• Age

In addition, UNCDF SHIFT has created complementary ASEAN dashboard as a benchmark for comparison within the regions. Each one is divided into 4 sheets:

• Financial inclusion and account ownership
• Savings and borrowing
• Digitization, highlighting digital payments and mobile money account ownership
• Cards, including ownership and the use of both credit and debit cards.
