
Elisa Desbordes-Cissé manages UNITLIFE’s communications and advocacy activities. Elisa has extensive experience in developing and implementing strategies in communications, social media, digital marketing and resource mobilization. She has designed brand communications and awareness campaigns and negotiated media partnerships throughout her work.
Elisa has collaborated with the African Union Commission and held positions at the African Development Bank Group, African Media Initiative and The ONE Campaign. In addition, Elisa has successfully led the communications and policy agendas of 20 high-level events and organized over 10 media workshops to build the capacities of more than 200 journalists.
Elisa has a Master’s degree in Political Science and Intercultural Management from the Institut d’études politiques d’Aix-en-Provence in France and a Master’s degree in History and Sociology from Universität Bielefeld in Germany.
