The session is organized by UNCDF in collaboration with WFP and European Union, and will spotlight existing and developing experiences with financing institutions such as Uganda Development Bank, Banque de Devéloppement de Mali, and Delegation General de l’Entrepreneuriat Rapide (DER) in Senegal, among others, in implementing such blended finance facilities that promote local food systems investments, including in rivers basins and transboundary areas, with a food security lens.. The experience of Regional Development Banks will also be sought to connect their broader strategies with more specific challenges of local food systems.
