LLA HUB 5th November

From 2:00-3:00 PM (GMT)

5th November

A ‘hard talk’ interview between Practical Action’s Maria Claudia Valdivia Verde, Green Business Lead in Peru, and John Barrett, Senior Adviser, Research Triangle Institute. The conversation will explore how putting communities in the driving seat of innovation, planning and implementation of agroforestry can deliver multiple wins:
• Successful adaptation enabling rural poverty reduction (rural livelihoods);
• Reliable income for the nation – meaningful and stable contributions from coffee, cocoa and rural economies to GDP; and
• Preventing/reversing deforestation delivering Peru’s targets mitigation targets.
