The purpose of this RFA is to select an experienced firm that will work closely with UNCDF and the Central Bank of The Gambia to conduct a survey to provide a picture of the current financial inclusion state in The Gambia. The survey will create an updated and public baseline for key financial inclusion indicators in support of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy launched in January 2022 and will serve as a benchmark to assess the inclusion progress by 2025.

The selected organisation will conduct the survey to provide updated inclusion related indicators and lead the drafting of a report on the state of financial inclusion in The Gambia. To be published in the public domain, the report should compare the financial landscape and performance towards enhancing financial inclusion with the findings of Finscope 2019, and highlight key findings, learnings and recommendations.

The firm is expected to contribute with their expertise in scoping, assessing the project needs, as well as to conduct and provide a final report that meets global standards.
