Ethiopia’s Digital Financial Services Working Group has evolved into an association, reaching a crucial milestone in its formalization process.

The group held a founders meeting to unite eligible stakeholders and finalize essential procedures.

This development is a significant step since the establishment of the working group in 2022 under UNCDF's #DFS4Resilience program, funded by the European Union and the Secretariat of the Organisation of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS).

At the meeting, participants shared their views on the importance of this milestone in Ethiopia's digital transformation journey.
