Fidelis Luteganya is an Investment Officer at UNCDF. He supports transaction processes from origination, screening, structuring and risk assessment to approvals and implementations.
Fidelis began his career as accountant at private company SDV Transami in 2005. In 2008 he transitioned to the government agencies namely the Tanzania Investment Centre and Energy and Water regulatory authorities as senior accountant managing the finances and operations. He joined UNCDF and then UNDP projects between 2012 to 2016 as finance analyst. In 2017 he joined UNCDF as Investment officer, in this role, he has supported over 50 MSMEs and sub-national transactions by delivered technical assistance and financial solutions in the sectors of energy, food systems, public infrastructures, innovative finance, manufacturing and creative industry.
A Tanzanian national, he brings over 20 years of experience across the private sector, public sector and UN system. Fidelis holds a master’s degree in Banking and Finance from Universita Della Svizzera Italiana (USI), is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a bachelor’s degree in commerce specialized in Accounting from the University of Dar Es salaam.
